Accessibility Statement

BOR Realty, LLC and Natallia Bor want everyone to be able to use www.arizonarussianrealtor.com (the “Site”), including people with disabilities. We design, build and test the Site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the most widely used accessibility standard in the United States and internationally.

What we've done

  • A clear structure: every page has one main heading, a logical heading order, page landmarks and a “Skip to content” link.
  • Full keyboard access, with a clearly visible focus outline on every link and button.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG AA. On the Home page, the text and buttons over the background video are checked against every part of the video.
  • A pause button for the Home page background video. If your device's “reduce motion” setting is on, the video and all animations stay still.
  • Layouts that work at up to 400% zoom and on screens as narrow as 320 pixels, without sideways scrolling.
  • The correct page language on English and Russian pages, so screen readers use the right pronunciation.
  • No flashing content, no carousels that move on their own, and no time limits.

How we test

We check every page, in both English and Russian, with automated accessibility testing (axe-core) and by hand: keyboard-only navigation, phone and tablet screen sizes, zoom and text reflow, the reduce-motion setting, and color contrast. We test in current versions of Chrome and Safari.

The Site is built with standard, semantic HTML so it works with assistive technologies such as screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS and TalkBack), screen magnifiers and voice control.

Conformance status

We believe the Site's own content conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some content comes from services we don't control, listed below, so in WCAG's terms the Site is “partially conformant”: it would conform fully without that third-party content. We review the Site whenever we make significant changes and fix any barriers we find.

Known limitations

  • YouTube videos. Most of our videos are in Russian and are hosted on YouTube. YouTube's automatic captions are available on many of them but may contain errors. If you need a transcript or a summary of any video, contact us and we'll provide one.
  • Google Maps. The map on the Contact page comes from Google and may be hard to use with a keyboard or screen reader. The address is written out on the same page, and we're happy to give directions by phone.
  • Social media. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp are separate services with their own accessibility features and limitations.
  • Photos of homes. Property photos have short descriptions. If you'd like more detail about any home, just ask.

We aim to reply within two business days. If a barrier can't be fixed right away, we'll make sure you get the information or service you need another way in the meantime.

Our ongoing commitment

Accessibility is part of how we maintain the Site, not a one-time project. We test new pages and features before they go live and review this statement at least once a year. The date it was last reviewed is shown at the top of this page.
